Providing tools and data infrastructures in support of mountain biodiversity science

We catalyse the development of standardized tools, models for analyses and predictions, definitions, and infrastructures to support the acquisition, mobilization, sharing, and replicable analysis of data and knowledge across the GMBA network. By doing so we enable the achievement of reliable evidence and high confidence and provide open access to key resources for coordinated collaborative science. GMBA:

• develops standardized definition and tools to maximize synergies between scientists and facilitate research at various spatio-temporal scales
• develops the online Mountain Portal for mountain biodiversity data visualization and query
• critically evaluates current mountain biodiversity indicators
